Snow Groomer - License to Chill Snow Island (Part Time) Night Shift

Buford, GA

SUMMARY:

This position isresponsible for preforming a variety of semi-skilled laborer tasks related tomaintaining snow at License to Chill Snow Island.  This includes shoveling snow, re-shaping and rebuildingplay areas and tube lanes. Will use equipment to place correct amount of snow,or machine that will groom the snow. Safety is key in this position.          

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensure guest and employee safety
  • Shape and maintain safe snow lanes and play areas
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs+
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to work in cold weather conditions outside
  • Communicate in a friendly manner even when stressed
  • Able to stand for long periods of time  
  • Assist one or multiple guests at a time with any questions  
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of all work areas
  • Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors 
  • Enforce and knowing all policies 
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

Must be at least 18 years of age

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

 

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing customer and staff interactions. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees.  

 

REASONING ABILITY

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in both written and verbal form.  Ability to deal with problems involving many variables.

Snow groomer associates are frequently required to stand, walk, run, climb, balance, sit, talk, hear, and reach, dig, handle, lift or feel. The associate is required to lift and or move 50 pounds or more.
