Tram Driver - Fins Up Waterpark (Part Time)

SUMMARY    Responsible for transporting guests around the resort property, communicating with guests, and giving them directions and information about the resort and all we have to offer, and monitors the parking lots and gate areas of the beach and waterpark.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Drive the tram
  • Give directions and information clearly while shuttling guests
  • Maintain maintenance logs for the Tram
  • Keep the Tram cleaned and filled with gas
  • Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for all guests
  • Be knowledgeable about the park and enforce all policies
  • Good communication skills
  • All other duties as assigned

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

This team member is responsible for overseeing the operation of the tram. They are also responsible for but not limited to, scheduling, training, delivering corrective action, maintaining a safe environment in and around the tram and driving around to each tram stop in the park. This supervisor should be knowledgeable not only about operating the tram, but all information about the park as well as all policies and procedures throughout the islands.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • Be at least 35 years old
  • Have a valid Georgia Driver’s license
  • Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Safety conscious
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment and under stress

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

Must be at least 35 years of age and a valid driver’s license

 

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

 

Be able to speak in the English language. Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing guest interactions. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees.

 

 

REASONING ABILITY

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in both written and verbal form.  Ability to deal with problems involving many variables.
